Harvey Glatman seemed a character often seen in B movies: a harmless nerd, a lonely boy with glasses. He even had the slow-witted. But beneath the benign exterior he was sharp - his IQ measured while he was in San Quentin, was 130, close to genius. But he was also someone who harbored homicidal fantasies.
The problems Glatman showed up early. At the age of twelve, for example, his mother noticed red welts on the neck of Glatmam end tables one day.
